Decent course
Great greens today. Fairways well kept too.The greenkeepers should be out on the course much earlier though. Why they are still cutting grass after 11am is unknown.

Good welcome on arrival and plenty of information on the course layout.
Fairways were in great condition and the greens were super fast so you had to really think about your putts.
Club house was good and the staff were very friendly.

My first visit
Overall a good visit today although the website states £14.50 Monday and Tuesday i was charged £20. To be fair the course is worth it.Felt a little rushed throughout the round by a 3 ball behind us at times as well.
Fantastic greens and fairways on a rather tricky course for my standard lol.

Better in Summer
Very nice club and excellent staff. Course has a few interesting holes and is definitely more challenging on a windy day. Drainage on far too many holes was poor and spoilt the round, really - far to boggy and slow greens.I would definitely like to play again once the ground has dried out.

A really good course with well kept fairways. Some of the greens show the usual signs of divots from the winter season. 10 of the holes are dog legs although due to the design this is less of an issue than some other courses. Some of the bunkers are the deepest I've seen so far!

Good course but not at it's best
First time playing Sandhill GC as was in the area and reasonable green fee so decided to try it out. Friendly welcome in pro shop. Decent practice facilities, large putting green near driving range. Course has suffered from recent dry weather, fairways quite bare & worn in places, found myself giving some preferred lies on some fairways. Greens had just been worked on so a little sandy and unpredictable. Course layout quite flat, some interesting holes, tree lined and a couple of dog legs to negotiate. Last 3 holes give chance of improving your score if played right. Hopefully course will recover once it gets some much needed rain as not a bad track.Reviewer Rating

The course looked really good, the introduction of automated GPS led mowers I feel has improved the fairways no end. Greens had recently been scarified and sanded so were not their best, they will I am sure improve. Good pace of play, not held up or pushed. Twilight for ?19 is great value for money!Reviewer Rating

Good Considering
We have had a lot of rain in the past 6 months in South Yorkshire including 16mm just the day before we played. The course however was well presented. It was soft in some areas and some areas were roped off but I never went in those so don’t know how soft they must be.Rough in trees really could do with cutting back to speed things up.

1st visit to Sandhill golf club
Course was in good condition although some fairways were a bit long (grass) as they had obviously had a lot of rain recently. The greens were quick and well manicured and many of them very tricky to read. There were a number of good holes and although there were some slopes they were not excessive and the layout was good. Very enjoyable experience and fees were reasonable and a pleasant clubhouse. Will certainly play again.Reviewer Rating

GOOD
The fairways and greens were very good for this time of year. Get off the fairways and you will be lucky to find your ball as the grass was quite long. Many bunkers had no rakes. Lack of ball cleaners, and where ball cleaners existed many were dry.Reviewer Rating

Great course
It\'s spot on, harder than you think as the greens are quite small. It\'s a nice walk mostly flat and not too bad on the old knees. All in all I can highly recommend the course.Reviewer Rating

Some really tricky greens
Think it was medal day when we visited. Tricky pins and greens generally challenging. Course was in good nick for early season. Acgentle but enjoyable challenge with the sting on the greens. Friendly clubhouse and great meat growlers behind the bar.Reviewer Rating
