Way over-priced mud bath
Somehow the club feels it's justifiable to charge £35 per round even though after very minimal rain the course is like a mud bath. Played a round in April 22 and lost count of the number of plugged balls and muddy areas. Only when the course is in its best condition is it worth anything like what they are now charging. Feels like the club is losing its way through delusions of grandeur, arrogance or simply brass neck. The layout is great and most people are friendly enough but at the end of the day the course is pretty standard parkland affair. There's courses just as good and better drained in the area for much less cost. It's a shame because our group used to play here a lot. We won't be paying £35 ever again - new pro shop or not.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
Great course with each hole being a different challenge. I?d love to play the course in summer when the fairways are dry and you get a good run for your drivesReviewer Rating

Up and Down Course, but certainly worth playing
I hadn't been and played here for 30 years and I can't believe I haven't been back as such a great course with some proper hills and challenging holes. The first temps you in to going for the green over a very long carry pond, I laid up but might go for it in summer. Pro was friendly and for ?15 in the week, its a great course for the money. Didn't go in the clubhouse, but it looks nice enough.Reviewer Rating
