Lovely course, well worth playing. Water comes into play on several holes and it's an interesting test. Bit muddy in places at the current time due to recent rain and the fact it's based on clay. Greens had been sanded so were a bit slower than expected but rolled well. Nice bacon roll prior to the round and decent burger and chips once done. Also has a well stocked pro shop.

Played on a damp drizzle filled day on the hybrid (princesses and kings) in December (21st) and the greens were superb, off fairway was quite slippery due to excessive worm activity but overall v impressive

Challenging course, suffering in the hot weather
It's not fair to judge the course by the recent weather. Hard bounces, strange kicks made it very difficult to play consistently.Course itself has some really interesting holes and few nice easy par 3?s to break them up.
Facilities are great, well stocked pro shop, great bar and restaurant.

Well looked after course albeit wet at this time of year
Great course in really good condition and clearly well looked after. It was wet underfoot as quite low and near to water but that is to be expected given its geography and time of year. Pretty area too with all the buildings being very dramatic. Certainly will play again later in the year.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 115 Handicap: 21.4)

Challenging course with difficult greens. Very technical course with a lot of thought put into getting you to think differently about your shot and club selection.

poor for the cost paid
Not in great condition, fairways poor, 75% were uncut.Greens were only reasonable which when you consider this round of golf cost £50.00 was not good.
local pay and play courses have better greens with only half the costs
