A nice course

A nice golf course & in good condition.
The greens had just been hollow tined, so it was hard to judge them, but they looked in good condition. Plenty of sand in the bunkers.
Most of the holes are tree lined, so accuracy is key. It did get a bit 'samey' in places, but at 12.50 on Golf Tee times, it's great value for money.
Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Faultless

The staff & facilities at The Belfy are excellent nothing is to much trouble for them.
Whatever time of the year you go the all 3 courses are in fantastic condition, the ground staff do a excellent job.

Have played this course over the last 2months,difficult conditions due to hot summer. Greens have improved greatly and are fast and quite hard to read, unfortunately the fairways are poor and let the course down.staff in bar are great but pro very unfriendly.

Course in good condition with fairways a little bit soft but greens quite fast. The reception was welcoming and food after was extremely good.

Lovely course

Really enjoyed my first round here, as did my playing partner.
It's a long but fair course and was in very good condition and the greens were very true.
Well worth a visit.

Course in great condition

The course has come on leaps and bounds over the last 2 years. The greens are in fabulous condition apart from a mole on one which looked like it had a good time. We were off very early so it wouldn’t have been seen and repaired.

Excellent course conditions, would recommend anyone to play there. We would have had food but they stopped serving at 4pm and we finished playing at 4.45pm. Excellent facilities and helpful staff.

Great course. Must visit. Greens and fairways were in great condition. Although the fairways are fairly wide the grass was quite long just off it making your ball a bit difficult to find. The greens we're rock hard making it difficult to hold your ball up. ( I think the sprinklers were out of service). It's the best I've seen the course in all the times I've played it.

Lovely course

Work Day Out

A group of around 40 of us took part in a golf day at Henley and overall it was an enjoyable day.

The course is situated well, a nice drive up to the large clubhouse brings a very American feel to the place.

The practice facilities were good, although a little small and cramped if there had been a few more people looking to practice. Only one area to chip and putt meant things got a bit messy next to the first tee.

The course is long, especially with a strong wind which we had to deal with. I feel this was the only real challenge as the course is fairly straight forward other than that. A long par 3 is the other stand out hole that sticks in my mind.

All bunkers had been placed as GUR as there had been heavy rain the night before, a bit of an extreme measure as many of the bunkers were more than playable. The greens were in particularly poor state. They had been hollotined and didn't roll particularly well on some holes. A few of the guys had worse breaks than others.

As its been said, the course is young. In 10-15 years it could be a beauty when everything has had time to bed in.
