Course in very good condition considering time of year, not a winter green or mat in use very good value.

If you are into flat courses with no blind shots then this isn't the place for you.

If, on the other hand, you want to play a spectacular 'natural' layout that's in great nick throughout the summer for bargain prices then this is the place.

The course features some great holes and represents a true test of golf - I'd argue that the SSS on the yellows of 67 is a little harsh given the hilly nature of the course and the abundance of trouble to find!

Highly recommended!

One of the best Muncipal courses about. Some great holes and some very challenging ones too. The course is in really good condition and the greens are true. Take plenty of red bull with you as this course is heavy on the legs.

Played at this course last sunday with my brother.I have been playing since late last year and this was about the 8th game i have played.I was advised by lots not take on this course as for my level i would lose a lot of balls.I did have 2 lessons last year just to cure a slice, well worth the money.I actually hit the best scorecard out of the 3 previous courses i have played, went round 101.Could have been a lot different as pointed out there is a lot of tee shots of trees/lakes and if you miss hit your tee shot your scorecard could become a job for a calculator.
All in all though, great course, greens were still very quick even with the snow from the day before that had since melted away.Only 2-3 winter greens being used.Fairways in excellent condition.GREAT COURSE,WELL KEPT

I reviewed this course for the HSBC rankings last year and have to say that as a municipal course it received (deservedly so) a Silver award.
The course is very hilly and until recently there were no buggies available (other than the drinks/snacks man).
A lot of blind holes and there is a need to have a strokesaver to get the best from the course, these as of yet are not available, so you will need to keep your eyes open to see where your going. good layout and test of both uphill and downhill shots into the greens, which are good and true.
Recommend this course providing you get a buggy or are fit.
