Disappointing
Played Hainault today for the first time since last summer (when I was super surprised how good the greens were) unfortunately the greens were not good today , many of them resembled a cricket pitch, the tee boxes are shockingly bad ! We tee’d off at 3pm as a two ball and in front of us was a 1 ball & there was a 2 ball in front of him so wasn’t expecting it to be too slow unfortunately we were wrong as we crawled round excruciatingly slowly , when we got to the turn we found out why, going down the 11th was a SIX ball and behind them was FIVE ball , I always hope for the best when I go to Hainault as I grew up playing the course, but so often visits to the course are very frustrating and for years now they have done nothing to make sure people are only playing in 4 balls or less, which is why I don’t play there very much anymore. (I used to play there week in week out) After today’s experience it’ll be at least another year before I try it again.Reviewer Rating

Lack of investment
I have played this course for nearly 40 years and it’s sad to see the decline in standards.Everything from course condition to staff hospitality is now poor.
The greens dry, the aprons need repair and seeding and most tees are bare and uneven

Lack of investment by the owner
This is not value for money.\\\\It’s pay and play weekdays and a shambles if busy.\\\\Nobody tells you a society is there on the day.\\\\Bald patches everywhere, tees not flat and mostly bare, the greens are inconsistent and unwatered, the staff just smile if you complain.Reviewer Rating

absolute shambles
Played on Sat the 31st of Oct, paid full price for the old course. Fairways were woeful and under water greens. Not looked after by staff, upon finishing I informed them of the condition of the course however staff members were rude and didn't want to know. Awful condition
The course is in shocking condition. I found out that their mower is broken so they cannot cut the fairways. This has been the case for 2 weeks. I mean surely they should have more than one? Also the fairways and rough are full of uneven lies and bare patches. The tees didn't have grass on them and are uneven. The first tee on the bottom course is the most unbelievable tee I have ever seen! Not one blade of grass just dry dirt. They also charge full price!Reviewer Rating
