Real Gem
Course in superb condition. Fast and very tricky greens with wild breaks, some downhill putts unstoppable. Not particularly long but accuracy approaching the greens is key.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.1)

A gem!!
Firstly... Very welcomed by the pro. This place is truly fantastic. Managed to get a twilight for £35, which is a steal. The course is in great shape, and the greens are superb, quick as lightning.Will be returning as soon as I can

Friendly Parkland Gem
I was pleasantly surprised to find an Alister MacKenzie designed course I could reach by public transport, could afford, and which would let me on to play! The course is just a short walk from Hadley Wood rail station so for a visitor to London it's an excellent option. Pro was very welcoming, rental clubs were a mixed bag but the AP2 irons were fine. Bring water! There's none on the course and the turn isn't until the 11th. The course itself is wide open tee to green and easy to walk. The greens are really the only defense against posting a low score - they're multi-tiered and moderately quick so you'll need to make a lot of six footers if you're an aggressive putter. As an overall layout this would be just a mid-level test where I live in New England, but this close to London, this affordable (GBP60) and this friendly, it's an easy four stars!Reviewer Rating

Played Hadley Wood recently in a Pro-Am competition. The course was in superb condition. Greens slick and true, fairways well presented and bunkers excellent. From the moment we got there until we left, the hospitality was superb...and I can't wait to return

Stunning course, tee to green probably not the most difficult course I have played, however...the greens are absolutely magic and so punishing. It was not too busy so my playing partner and I often placed the ball on a part of the green in places to see if we could get down in two. On some greens, dependant on pin position is very challenging maybe impossible. The course was in great condition, bunkers were fantastic and overall great value!! The Pro was also very welcoming and made us aware of how to get most out of our visit!

Simply the best course I've ever played. Tee / Fairways / Bunkers & Greens in championship conditions. Greens are a sooo quick.
I highly recommend if you have the opportunity to play this magnificient course.

Wow what a course, one of the best I've played. Every hole has its own challenge and are quite different. Wouldn't get bored round here playing every week!! Cheeky tip.... Check the online booking facility, the green fees are hugely reduced if the course is quiet the following couple of days

The course was in excellent condition and the greens were outstanding if lightening fast. The holes were diverse and challenging enough for the low handicapper.

Great find!
Played recently with Friends. Though the course was absolute quality and in great condition. Also very impressed with their clubhouse, friendly staff and the food was amazing (no microwave ready meals here) - my BLT was every inch quality and home-made. Will definitely return.

Played this place for the first time yesterday and very impressed. Fantastic condition and very challenging. Greens are large, fast and undulating. Fairways are generally inviting, but a number of the holes play longer than the yardage (particularly at this time of year I suspect). Great course, I'll be back sooner rather than later.

I played here last week as was looking at courses in Hertfordshire to join and couldn't have been more surprised at how great this course actually is! I have subsequently arranged a golf day at Hadley over the summer as a result. Bit wet in places but where isn't following the amount of rain we have had recently. My favorite hole was the 5th hole SI 1 which is incredibly well protected by bunkers. Greenfee was £35 due to the winter rate and was well worth it. highly recommend. Eric
