I played here last week as was looking at courses in Hertfordshire to join and couldn't have been more surprised at how great this course actually is! I have subsequently arranged a golf day at Hadley over the summer as a result. Bit wet in places but where isn't following the amount of rain we have had recently. My favorite hole was the 5th hole SI 1 which is incredibly well protected by bunkers. Greenfee was £35 due to the winter rate and was well worth it. highly recommend. Eric

Played in a pro am teeing off whites which makes the 2nd shot long for me. Course in great condition and the greens tricky with not too many level putts. The practice green was on a slope so that gave you an idea of what to expect. The vista is fantastic and I'm glad I played this course for the first time.

Played yesterday and loved it! Greens were too quick for me though- only complaint! The staff are great and the work on the course make it one the best I've played in North London.

Unbelievably good! Love the layout, definition on the fairways and greens. Great driving range and a very friendly place to have a beer over looking the 18th and 11th green. The Pro's were especially helpful in showing our group around and giving us some history behind the Club/Course.

Played today and thought the course was great. Most courses have suffered due to the weather but the class shows through at Hadley. 7th and 17th are two of the best par3's I've ever played. Cheers guys will be back soon.

Playing at Hadley Wood is always a joy, a beautiful setting with a golf course, clubhouse to rival any in the UK. The course offers you have a great mix of holes, challenging all standards of player. Every time i have played the day has been ended with great food, friendly atmosphere and the staff are always happy to help make the day run smoothly. A must play in my opinion, I hope to return again soon.

Beautiful setting, clubhouse, and course. Challenging layout, well-conditioned, fast greens (quite unlike other courses we played in Greater London), friendly staff; a very enjoyable day of golf. For 2 Americans on holiday in the London, this was the highlight of our trip.
The course is somewhat hilly, so it was a bit tiring for us (we are accustomed to carts here), and it was a bit of a struggle to reach the course from London (about a one-hour ride on the tube, then a struggle to find a cab), but worth every effort! If you get the opportunity, play this course!

Played here on Saturday when most courses were closed - great drainage made it a fantastic afternoon's golf. For anyone who visits you must sample the Hadley Wood Club sandwich - unreal!

I saw Hadley Wood enter the top100golfcourses this year and wanted to see the changes they have made since hosting the opening qualifying. I have a great respect for McKenzie and the restoration of the bunking is truly stunning, especially on the 5th/6th/7th. I haven't seen a course improve so much in so little time. Definitely a competitor for the best course in Hertfordshire! Worth every penny of the £35 greenfee!

In a stunning setting, clubhouse stands out at the top of the hill as you play the course, one of the best layouts I've played with small undulating greens, typical of Mckenzie which are frighteningly fast. Each hole requires you to think about your shot with tight fairways and thick rough aswell as Classic Mckenzie bunkers. A real gem of a course

Attended a society day here on one of their winter packages. Coffee and bacon baps, 18 holes and ham egg and chips all for £40.00, complete bargain. Fabulous course, club house and hospitality. Cannot rate this highly enough.
