There was two holes with the pin just sitting in the middle of the fairway, there was no temporary greens, we were not told about this when booking

Go in summer when the weather has been good for a while and you should find the course in great condition. Go in the winter or when the weather has been poor and it will be in poor condition. These greens don't like wet weather. Some very good holes (7th and 18th spring to mind). Almost always open regardless of weather, but the course does handle wet weather well so the use of temporary greens is fairly commonplace. Temporary greens on a few holes seem to be on almost as much as the main greens.

expensive to play during the day, OK on twilight. Good course, some easy holes some hard holes

An enjoyable if not spectacular course. The yardage of the course is quite short and this makes it an enjoyable afternoons golf rather than a challenging one. The course is in good condition with some very good and fast greens. Facilities are traditional but good and the staff in the clubhouse were very friendly.
