One of the best courses in the NE - an absolute gem
Tucked away and never played the course before (have walked along the bridle path etc). The front nine is tight and challenging but short enough to help you out. The back nine is a huge challenge - tight, picturesque fairways in super condition. The 15th is an absolute peach of a hole. My only criticism was that the 2nd has a temporary green. The pro shop was closed so we didn't know and I over-clubbed by two clubs as used the watch for distance.Reviewer Rating

Great course ! with great greens ! Had a lot of flooding, but has done really well to recover! short but low handicapers will struggle to shoot low cos of tight fairways and lots of elevated greens

I am always sceptical when a course describes itself as a "Hidden Gem" and "arguably the finest greens in the area", but I have to say that this course is fully justified. Some wonderful holes, excellent bunkering, beautifully manicured fairways (and rough) and greens like carpet - albeit carpet with some wonderful undulations!!! An absolute steal for £16 (twilight) and leaves me wondering why I haven't played it before; it definitely won't be long before I play it again...
