Service in the shop was brilliant, very friendly and welcoming as well as some information about the course. The course was in good condition for early in the season with more work to come it should be in great condition for the summer. The course itself is challenging with some good bunker placement and the occassional water hazard to keep you on your toes. Greens are looking good and as the sun warmed them up became more challenging. A good course that will challenge most golfers along with an excellent service in the pro shop.

The course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Nice clubhouse, and a fantastic offer of a round of golf and a pint for £10.

This course describes itself as a “hidden gem” and this is absolutely true.
I have driven past part of this course on dozens of occasions and, whilst it looked very pleasant, I had no idea what a lovely place this is to play golf. There are lots of mature trees all around the course and many visually pleasing holes, not least the stunning 18th with a row of trees down the left, a stream all the way down the right and the clubhouse sitting proudly behind the green.
The course is not a long course and I imagine very good golfers will take it apart but for me that is part of its allure – golfers of all standards have a good chance of playing to or under their handicaps.
The staff and members we encountered were very friendly and the food in the clubhouse was both reasonably priced and very tasty. All in all I can’t wait to return.

this is a great course with great facilities. the rough isn't to bad so if the ball goes in you have every chance of finding it.
