Cracking course, eases you in gently on the 1st nine but you pay for it dearly on the back 9 with possibly the toughest finish to any non championship course I've played. The greens were superb for any time of the year never mind early May. Went with a large golf society and it was a nice touch for the President to come and greet each and every one of us on the 1st tee. Highly recommended.

Course in very good order. Friendly members. Need to make your score on the Par 5s. Some long par 4s! I have played most of the courses in Leicestershire and this is one of the best. Great VFM at 13 quid!

Played Glen Gorse on A 2 for 1 in early November and the course was in very good condition. When we arrived at the pro shop we were made very welcome and checked with little fuss. The corse has a good variation of holes from short, tight par 4s to testing par 5s. With very mature trees lining most fairways in the opening few holes it does help to be straight off the tee. Do watch out for the very tough closing couple of holes that can do some serious damage to your card. The clubhouse, although old is very welcoming and food good quality. very reasonable too. Overall is certainly worth a visit.

A truly lovely venue
A truly lovely venue with a well established tree lined course. A few water hazards and well placed bunkers make the round interesting to say the least. Plays longer than you think from the card and some very pretty holes too. Very good condition, nice true greens and a pleasure to play. Decent shop, excellent clubhouse and food.
