Excellent greens
Course in superb condition , plenty of trees to avoid if you are to hit greens in regulation.Greens are relatively small but fast with hidden undulations.
A mix of long and short par 4s with inviting par 5s .
Friendly reception from pro shop and bar staff , Sky Sports on the tv.

A beautifully laid out parkland course, the first 6 holes going round the perimeter of the land before doing an inward loop. Many challenging holes with a halfway hut around the 12th green. Unusual yes, but such is the layout it's very practical. No two holes seemed the same and the condition and aesthetics were very pleasing to the eye. After the round I tried to think of a disappointing hole, I couldn't, only my golf let me down.

At first sight it looks a benign parkland course. Looks can deceive however. It offers multiple challenges and provides a testing and interesting round of golf in a pleasant setting. Nice club house and friendly members.

I played here recently having booked through the website - paid £80 for a four ball.
I've been a few times before, but its probably been three years or so since I was last there.
Course was in good condition for the time of year and considering what their normal fees are this was great value. Some minor changes since my last visit, but all positive.
Course has some really testing strong par 4's and a good balance of par 3's.
Great 'halfway house' at the 12th hole, and good food in the clubhouse too.
Enjoyed it, definitely one I'll keep going back to

Lovely venue
A lovely venue for a round of golf. Played in a friendly competition and was made very welcome,. The course itself is a good challenge and in very good condition. Excellently maintained bunkers and a picturesque vista made the visit very enjoyable. Catering was exceptional as was the hospitality. A well stocked shop, great clubhouse and facilities too. A truly lovely venue
A truly lovely venue with a well established tree lined course. A few water hazards and well placed bunkers make the round interesting to say the least. Plays longer than you think from the card and some very pretty holes too. Very good condition, nice true greens and a pleasure to play. Decent shop, excellent clubhouse and food.
