Course in very good order. Friendly members. Need to make your score on the Par 5s. Some long par 4s! I have played most of the courses in Leicestershire and this is one of the best. Great VFM at 13 quid!

A beautifully laid out parkland course, the first 6 holes going round the perimeter of the land before doing an inward loop. Many challenging holes with a halfway hut around the 12th green. Unusual yes, but such is the layout it's very practical. No two holes seemed the same and the condition and aesthetics were very pleasing to the eye. After the round I tried to think of a disappointing hole, I couldn't, only my golf let me down.

At first sight it looks a benign parkland course. Looks can deceive however. It offers multiple challenges and provides a testing and interesting round of golf in a pleasant setting. Nice club house and friendly members.
