Just had an amazing days golfing with good friends. Course is in excellent condition and the greens We're superb with some interesting contours.
Fish and chips were very tasty with what looked looked like double fried chips, just the colour I like.

Played several times. Course gets better and better! Well maintained. Easy walking. Clubhouse has new golfers bar downstairs. Pro shop well stocked and friendly staff. I always have a very enjoyable day at Ganstead.

I was a member here from 1997 until 2011, and the condition was up and down. I played here in May 2015 and I couldn\'t believe the improvement that has been made. The greens were absolutely superb, as good as any in the area without doubt, the little niggly things that were lacking when I was a member have been sorted, such as the sand in the bunkers. It is a little up and down, but that\'s the way the land is, and the courses protection is it\'s length. The \"field\" has matured no end, and if you can score well over the road, you usually have a good card. The club house is as good as any, with a good atmosphere, the pro shop is now also vastly improved and competitive, so all in all it is well a visit.

Quite a lot of divots needed replacing, pleasant course, last six holes best of all, nice scenery. Half way house was excellent value for money, good pro shop with friendly staff.

Improving course from last year, greens are in better overall condition. Teeing areas should be level. Long overdue trimming of bunker edges and topping up of sand been done, if only players and staff could learn to rake them properly at all times. Fairways need to be more closely mown and regularity is the key. Driving nets need updating or at least taking care of as they are old and tatty.
