Over priced and in poor condition.
The golf course is very expensive for a poorly maintained links. Though the greens were generally good the fairways and rough were a bit ropey and the bunkers are in a bad state for a supposedly good course. There are a lot of areas around the course that need cleaning up that improve it appearance.Reviewer Rating

Good challenge, greens battered by tourists
Challenging but fair test of golf... would love to play again in more 'normal' times.Typical championship layout, reasonably long with well placed hazards and undulating greens. Can imagine this is usually a fabulous place to play golf, however, the state of the greens unfortunately ainted our experience on this occasion. At least 6 of the 18 greens were memorable for the vast amount of damage seemingly caused by unrepaired pitch marks which made finding a line for a true roll impossible. Even on the better greens we found the pace to be slower than one would expect of a course that proudly boasts its presence on various professional tours.
Our suspicion, playing in late August 2020 is that the course has been battered by more play than usual during COVID and unfortunately tourists are less likely to take ownership for repairing pitch marks than private club members.
Otherwise the facilities are very good, particularly the driving range and there is a lovely outdoor seating area next to the 18th green. Didn't try the 9 hole course but looked decent.
I will be returning to see how the course fares in normal times as I can't believe the greens are usually in this state.

Rude staff
While enquiring about playing the course, I was delt with by an extremely rude member of staff on the phone. His attitude along with his unwillingness to acmmodate a simple request is why the group will not be visiting this resort. Disappointing as the pictures appear to show a great course.Reviewer Rating

Appalling Condition
Played over 3 days on the European Disabled tour this week, I went out on the first day thinking WOW Tommy Fleetwood’s home club but was bitterly disappointed! The first day we were having to shoot from fairways that were bare and I was needing deliberately aim for rough to get grass beneath the ball. I hadn’t been in a bunker all round and the greens seemed highly inconsistent, speed and how true they were on a line.Day 2 we were given a pick and place for proffered lies on fairways after the referees assessed the course, I finally went in to a bunker on 17 on day 2 and genuinely hurt myself! I have suffered spinal and neck injuries and when hitting from the bunker it was like contacting with concrete which ended with excruciating spinal pain, neck and fierce nerve pain and had the same issue in two more bunkers on day 3. Also on day 1; one of the gross competitors got away with no injury luckily after the top of one of the bunkers caved in underneath him, we were then on day 2&3 having to tester bunkers to see if they were structurally safe to enter, if not a free drop was in play.
2 players had to withdraw due to the hotel receptionist having given away all easy access rooms so the competitors had to with draw and drive back home… Cambridge to Liverpool and back again with a practice round in between is a long day! 8am-1:30am
Needless to say I and many/most of the other competitors were bitterly disappointed… yes the course was a challenge but the condition was woeful, they splash Tommy’s name all over the place but I’ve played better municipal council courses and it’s a shame because I like most were saying this place could be an unbelievable venue! Saying all this the staff were genuinely nice and helpful and credit to them in that aspect.
