Tight and always in good condition. If you don't hit it straight you wont score well, it really is as simple as that..(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 22.8)

Lovely Course
Really enjoyed playing here. Tough test due to the trees lining every hole. Forest 9 holes was the best by far.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 112 Handicap: 30.7)

A wish list course finally ticked off
Played all 3 loops of nine and each is worth playing. The greens have some great undulations and were running quick for the time of year. My favourite loop was Forest, but Pines has some fine testing holes and Beeches' greens were probably the trickiest. Under current restrictions food was available in the hotel bar which was friendly and welcoming.Reviewer Rating

Played Forest nine and Pines nine. Both lovely courses - fair but challenging. The scenery around the course is gorgeous. You need a camera in addition to your clubs! You will not be disappointed. Need to go back and play thr beeches nine soon.Reviewer Rating

Wow just wow
what can i say!! What a course.Immaculate tee to green. Bunks in great positions. Treelined fairways from start to finish, but as long as you aren't horrendous off the tee they are plenty wide enough. Even if you do stay into the tree its quite forgiving under them, so you will normally find your ball. The layout of the course is great and we barely saw another group in front or behind us. The holes are very varied and each 1 as challenging as the last.
Everyone was very welcoming and the whole visit went without a blip( bar the hotel losing our dinner booking, which was sorted)
The only downside for us was the practice facilities. Driving range!! Bit disappointing, not even long enough to test the driver.
On the whole a great visit and have every intention of visiting again.

Forest Pines disappointing golf
Disappointing that only two of the 3 x 9 holes was in play. The lack of food or drink in the clubhouse very disappointing. A very souless course and clubhouse lacking the 3 in our party were all very disappointed so much that we left early without finishing the 2nd 18Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Round - Forest & Beeches
In bleak winter weather, me (off 9) and a mate (off 6) decided to make the trip out to Forest Pines for a ?20 round. We were met with bright sunlight and lovely manicured holes and surroundings. The Forest Course was immaculate and such an interesting challenge - I'd give it 8.5 out of 10. Our second nine was Beeches which wasn't as good but still 7 out of 10. Both courses are a challenge, but Pines stands out for me as superb. The undulating fairways and greens plus the mature and huge pines mean you have to be accurate off the tee to give yourself a chance. We did find it amusing that it seemed to be very favourable to a draw player (my mate) and not a face player (me), so beware. The Pines 9 was closed but is one of the better ones out of the three. I would certainly say to aim for Forest and Pines or Pines and Forest if you are doing 18. But if you end up doing beeches you'll still have a really enjoyable round. The club house and catering are excellent and the staff were very engaged. Watch out for a recent change, you have to register your number plate with golf reception to get an all day parking pass ... or risk a fine. Go there and if the weather is good you will not be disappointed.Reviewer Rating
