Thanks to the green staff for keeping us in golf all winter. Sometimes the only course open in Lincolnshire and never a winter green in sight.Reviewer Rating

Awesome course but very challenging
We played all 3 of the 9 hole courses in 3 various 18 hole combinations over 3 days and all were incredibly well looked after from tee to green. If you think you are going to get an easy game here then think again. If you are not accurate the trees will punish you unless the tree monkeys are kind and throw your ball back onto the fairway. I would definitely go back as I am convinced like most mid handicap golfers, that I could do better next time! Good luck and enjoy.Reviewer Rating

Busy but great fun
Lovely course consisting of 3 x 9 holes so for 18 it's a combination of 2 out of the 3?.. It's quite a network of holes and on the whole the signposting is quite good, but not great in places. It was busy and that also meant a bit of hanging around but not too painful. There are lots of bunkers and I think we found everyone of them! Greens like satin, so very fast which didn't help my overall score!Reviewer Rating

A wish list course finally ticked off
Played all 3 loops of nine and each is worth playing. The greens have some great undulations and were running quick for the time of year. My favourite loop was Forest, but Pines has some fine testing holes and Beeches' greens were probably the trickiest. Under current restrictions food was available in the hotel bar which was friendly and welcoming.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Round - Forest & Beeches
In bleak winter weather, me (off 9) and a mate (off 6) decided to make the trip out to Forest Pines for a ?20 round. We were met with bright sunlight and lovely manicured holes and surroundings. The Forest Course was immaculate and such an interesting challenge - I'd give it 8.5 out of 10. Our second nine was Beeches which wasn't as good but still 7 out of 10. Both courses are a challenge, but Pines stands out for me as superb. The undulating fairways and greens plus the mature and huge pines mean you have to be accurate off the tee to give yourself a chance. We did find it amusing that it seemed to be very favourable to a draw player (my mate) and not a face player (me), so beware. The Pines 9 was closed but is one of the better ones out of the three. I would certainly say to aim for Forest and Pines or Pines and Forest if you are doing 18. But if you end up doing beeches you'll still have a really enjoyable round. The club house and catering are excellent and the staff were very engaged. Watch out for a recent change, you have to register your number plate with golf reception to get an all day parking pass ... or risk a fine. Go there and if the weather is good you will not be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Lovely set up
Great facilities but very slow play pace due to the amount of people they squeeze in. Makes play uncomfortable as you can have 3 sets of players queueing. Courses in good condition and apart from slow play it was value for money - just be prepared to take 5 hours to get around.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 110 Handicap: 24.9)

Challenging but enjoyable course
I am a mid to high handicapper and those bunkers really punished me when I landed in them. Admittedly the weather in the weeks before our visit was very wet so some bunkers suffered as a result. The undulating greens were well-maintained and very fast. Superbly maintained fairways too. All in all a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable set of coursesReviewer Rating

Good fairways and tees, Poor Greens and Bunkers. Staff - Ughhhh!
Nice looking, pretty, scenic course. Lots of pine trees bordering almost every fairway so have plenty balls! Tee Boxes and Fairways in great shape. Unfortunately greens had been aerated and top dressed with sand so in the morning dew were terrible. The ball just picked up so much sand, putting conditions very poor, ball jumps and bobbles so pace and line were impossible to judge. Bunkers are hardpan under the surface and really need attention. The young staff were really friendly, but the older staff were really grumpy, and set a poor example.Reviewer Rating

Tihjter fairways than Ashby Decoy, some green near impossible to read, brilliant par three over the lake, hotel was spotless, great food, residents get 20% off at the bar, all in all a great place to play golf. Three sets of nine holes, we played all, three sets, brilliant.Reviewer Rating
