Flat course but you need to be straight
A very friendly club which is being developed significantly by the current owner with paths for buggies. Many of the areas around the greens have been revamped. The clubhouse has just been extended such that it has doubled its' capacity.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 78 Handicap: 15.4)

good course
the weather was pretty bad and could only play 9 holes, these holes where in pretty good condition considering the snow and rain we've had. it was only £10 and they said i could play as many holes as i liked so the score card isn't a true round but i played quite well and was playing 2 balls and just practicing really. will definitely be playing this course again.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 79 Handicap: 18.3)

Good Value Course
Although a short course, it presents an interesting challenge with trees, ponds, ditches and gorse. The course is subject to regular improvement works and the bar and eating facilities are likewise always looking to improve upon the good standard already provided.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 32.4)

Course was wet due to the heavy overnight rain but all the greens were open and in excellent shape for the time of year. Will definitely be back in the spring to play again.

Nice course with some challenging holes. Plenty of chances to make birdies and a few eagle opportunities with a little luck. Nice surroundings and good facilities make it a course well worth playing.

played here 7/9/14 hadn't played here for about 4 years but was a really good test. I'd like to say the greens are some of the best i have played recently. Overall course looked in good condition, just so many ditches i would imagine in the winter you could lose alot of balls here. front nine is very short back nine is long and challenging. We played as a 4 ball around 11pm on a saturday and the course was rammed which lead to slow play but that wouldnt put us off going back. Didnt get to test clubhouse but looked very good value and the pro shop faciltities were very good. Overall a good experience and will look to play here more often. Tip book through teeofftimes we got a 4 ball for £12.50 each which was incredible value for money.

Played there a few times recently with my dad and a few friends. Very reasonable price for a course like this. Very well maintained greens and just a great course to play. The shop there is well stocked for all the basics and the pro there was very helpful when it came to finding a good driver for me. The clubhouse there also does great food when you've finished your round - so much so I've been there since just for dinner!

Played this course at the weekend with a couple of friends and we all had a very enjoyable morning.
Course is tight and not one for the big hitters. However, it provided a good test of course management, offering risk/ reward throughout. Greens in good condition too.
Had the full breakfast in the bar before the round, which was good value. The sausages were top notch - best in Dorset!
There are certainly better, more prestigious courses in the area but if your looking for a fun, relaxed days golf with good value for money, then I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ferndown Forest Golf Club.

Played on the £12 twilight deal and was surprised by quality of the greens for such a cheap round! Had a very enjoyable day and will definately be going back.

Stayed at a local holiday village and was Pleasently surprised by the condition of the course, it offers a good test. Was a little worried about the course due to the low price but needn't have been as it is better than the price would suggest. Thougherly recommend for a visit and we will be back next year!
