Was our first visit to this very friendly Club, very helpful in the pro shop, course is in very good condition, fairways nice and lush and the greens running very true. I liked the fact that there was a full picture diagram of each hole on the tee pegs which helped us on this first visit. Had a nice pint with chicken wraps and chips in the lovely clubhouse overlooking the 9th & 18th greens with very friendly staff. Lovely day and hope to go back soon. :-)

This was the first time I played Elton Furze and was very impressed with the condition of the course and praise the green staff. It is very pretty and interesting, all the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was outstanding and extremely good value for money. I will definitely play here again and thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality golf course.

Very nice golf course and club. Staff are excellent and make new members feel at home immediately. Deceivingly difficult 18 holes. No easy par 3's so a good test of your handicap with a couple of holes very close to out of bounds adjacent to tee boxes. If I had one criticism then it would be the inconsistent quality of the bunkers and some of the tee boxes, albeit works are planned to improve these through the next 6 months or so. I would recommend Elton Furze to anyone thinking of moving courses or looking to join a club in Cambridgeshire.

An excellent test of golf for most players; although a little on the short side, it offers a good variety of holes to challenge all but the really long hitters. The greens are very true and the fairways well kept.

The highlight of 2021
Just played this friendly welcoming golf course. The Parkland well kept fairways and mostly the greens were outstanding. By far thick unmarked greens the best. I found its great for my game play it makes you concentrate on those tricky tight tee shorts. But I came away with a positive as it was a great experience.Reviewer Rating

Course was fully open but shouldn't off been was far too wet, First 8 holes was bearable but after that just wasn't enjoyable and paid ?26 for the pleasure, Wont be returning in winter months, should off spent money on drainage rather than putting in holiday homes.

We played on 1st May 2017, a bank holiday and according to tee off times we
were booked in for 10.36. When we arrived we were informed that tee off
times had not contacted the club and there was a competition taking place so
we could not play. After a brief discussion Fred in the shop agreed to let
us start at the 10 th tee.
The rest of the day was superb. The course was in excellent condition,
anyone we met on the course was polite and helpful. We found the course to
be superb, interesting and challenging in places. After the game we were
made to feel very welcome both in the shop, where we went to say thanks and
in the bar after. On the whole a superb days golf and one we would like to
repeat, but next time I think we will contact the club direct.
Can you or someone say a big thank you to Fred as he could have easily
turned us away but he didn't and all 3 of us who played said that this was
one of the best courses we had played and one of the friendliest and
hopefully one to which we would like to return to.

Elton Furze has some demanding and difficult holes making scoring difficult for mid handicappers, however the undulating fairways and greens keep the golfer interested. I enjoy playing there.

Have played here 3 evening in the last 4 weeks. Course was very quiet and in excellent condition. ?13 after 5pm. Greens are very true and there is a nice variety of holes

Playing tomorrow , weather willing, have not played for months, like most I guess, but looking forward to it, more than I can say regarding some clubs with a supposed higher reputation, this course is good, fair, and the club is very friendly, what more is there.

The last time I played this course was 5 years ago. I liked it then but even more now. It's maturing into a great course, I just wish I could play it more often. I would definitely recommend it anyone.

Lovely Parkland Course
This is a hidden gem in Cambridgeshire. A few minutes from the A1 near Peterborough but in pleasant countryside surroundings. Mature trees surround the course with lots of flaura and fauna. here are many mature trees. Design includes dogleg holes, with well placed ponds and bunkers and undulating fairways. A good challenge for most golfers. Greens are true and the course is very well maintained. Nice clubhouse and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will play here again.Reviewer Rating

Some rather large trees to go round or over. Big fast greens, well looked after. Long ( 150 - 200 ) par 3s. Nice clubhouse .
