What the club says: Oundle Golf Club, in Northamptonshire is a delightful par 72, 18 hole parkland course established in 1893. Set in the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside just west of the picturesque market town of Oundle.
The Club offers competitive membership packages as well as welcomes all visitors and Societies weekday and at weekend. The Club hosts 4 Open competitions a year. Recognised by Todays Golfer as being in the Top Fun Places to Play!

Wow end of november and the course looked great, greens beautiful to play on so well presented i will be coming back for more, certainly much better than its ever been before when ive played it

Nice club with nicely shaped fairways. Good hilly fairways to nicely shape your tee shots in position to land on the really lush greens. The greens are first class in perfect condition!!. The club house is nice and has a good pro shop. Practice net and putting green to get warmed up before you start.Reviewer Rating

I was asked if id like to play oundle by a friend so glad i did what a joy quirky layout (but a joy from the norm) so well presented, greens run true and quick a everyone was so helpful a joy to play northants hidden gem

I am a Member, and past Captain, of West Herts Golf club in Hertfordshire. My wife and myself had the pleasure of playing a round of golf at Oundle last week and we were very impressed.We found the course to be in lovely condition and good test of golf.
Oundle is a hidden gem of a course and we will definitely return soon.

Played here a few times now and enjoy it every time. Unfortunately the 5th to 8th were closed due to waterlogging, but were able to play another 4 holes to make up for it. Other than that the course was in good condition considering all the rain we have had.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course in good condition with an interesting layout including several elevated tees and many changes of elevation elsewhere. Greens were good but a little slower than expected. Excellent welcome in the clubhouse and nice good before and after golf. Would go back.

Lovely

A little gem

Picturesque course
I love this course, had not played here for nearly 30 years and it has been extended in that time. Certainly more of a challenge now and with fewer shared fairways. It\'s quite hilly with a lot of elevated tees and you need to be careful with your drives. Local knowledge would help with approach shots as lots of greens are hidden over hills or mounds. A lot of nice mature trees and a lake makes this a picturesque place to play.\We played one of the last tee times in Autumn so sadly the bar was closed when we finished. Members were very friendly, I lost a club on the 4th and someone kindly handed it in.\Reviewer Rating

Great Club
Second time playing here and it was as good as I remembered from the first time. Now my Skycaddie is up and running and I had my number I played it even better. It’s such a great layout with a lot of fabulous holes. You don’t need driver on every hole as placement is best for scoring well. Course was in lovely condition, a couple of the tee boxes could do with a mow if I was being critical but it had rained a lot the previous few days.Overall well worth a visit and will become of my favourites.

Quirky layout
The course has a quirky layout where you were playing across other fairways . Some blind holes where the green is reachable if you only knew where to play your shot. Great course
First time playing Oundle and I was more than pleasantly surprised, what a really nice course this is. From the guy in the pro shop asking if use played before, on telling him I hadn’t and that my Skycaddie wasn’t working he gave me a yardage book for the course, excellent service.The course is really unusual, which I love. Much hillier than I expected but that made for some nice tee shots and blind second shot. It’s not overly long, sometimes generous and sometimes not!! On busy days it could be interesting as one fairway is shared by 2 holes going in opposite directions, and others crossing over each other. But for me that adds to its quirky nature. Greens were nice and true and a nice speed. Overall condition was good and it’s excellent value. Just a shame I live 45 mins away or I’d play it much more often. Will definitely be back.
