I know Elton Furze quite well, but haven't been there for a while. Played it today (25/3/15). The course is in fairly good shape for the time of year. It is generally a reasonable test of golf for all but the lowest handicaps, with a nice variety of holes. Staff on the course and in the clubhouse and bar have always been great, and today was no different. We had a winter deal, paying £20 for a round, with pie and chips thrown in. In true Elton Furze hospitality style, it was a huge plate of food, with a chicken and ham pie and chips and veg. Cannot praise them enough really. Other courses should take a leaf out of their book.

Course in fine nick and greens fast and undamaged by weather. Club lunches very generous. Need a healthy appetite

I am the Guide for a totally blind golfer named Billy Mcallister one of the top blind golfers in the world at present. Billy Lives in Worthing and I live in Stilton so we do not get a chance to meet up often to practice having a golf club like Elton furze close by is wonderful all the staff from the pro shop to the 19 th hole have been so helpful and supportive to both myself and Billy always asking how we have been getting on and wishing us well in the blind tournament's and the members of Elton have also shown there interest and have been so nice that Billy feels very welcome as do I. Thank you all so much from both of us I for one will be joining Elton Furze. Andy Dutton

This was the first time I played Elton Furze and was very impressed with the condition of the course and praise the green staff. It is very pretty and interesting, all the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was outstanding and extremely good value for money. I will definitely play here again and thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality golf course.

Was our first visit to this very friendly Club, very helpful in the pro shop, course is in very good condition, fairways nice and lush and the greens running very true. I liked the fact that there was a full picture diagram of each hole on the tee pegs which helped us on this first visit. Had a nice pint with chicken wraps and chips in the lovely clubhouse overlooking the 9th & 18th greens with very friendly staff. Lovely day and hope to go back soon. :-)

Really nice course with very well kept greens and fairways .
Provides a tough test especially in the wind . Bit pricey but they have a deal on at the moment !

The last time I played this course was 5 years ago. I liked it then but even more now. It's maturing into a great course, I just wish I could play it more often. I would definitely recommend it anyone.

Great course with interesting tight layout. Not much need to drive more than 230yrs. Greens in great condition. Staff very friendly.

An excellent test of golf for most players; although a little on the short side, it offers a good variety of holes to challenge all but the really long hitters. The greens are very true and the fairways well kept.
