Proper links experience
We played on a sunny day, with no wind, so our experience may not be typical!! The first eight holes are built around a couple of sand dunes: so they are full of character, while affording stunning views of the bay and along the coast. From the ninth, the course flattens out a bit as play towards the end of the course and a beautiful little par three which is set in front of the castle ruins. The course was in splendid condition, and we will certainly return for another round.Reviewer Rating

harder than it looks
Nice links. Rough looks quite benign but if you go in it you struggle to find your ball. Requires a higher level of accuracy than I had on the day!(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 22.6)

clubhouse staff were very welcoming on arrival. i managed to fit in a quick game whilst on holiday in Alnwick. i was impressed with the condition and variety of the course especially for the green fee. it was very windy on the day but the views were fantastic. Greens and fairways were great and most of the tees were still being used. would recommend.
