Played 28/5/16 course very good condition,grees very good, not to keen on the 5 holes over the M60 as they criss cross, the rest of the course is really nice and a good layout , definitely will play again

Course still a bit soft after all the rain, with very little run on the drives - most "plugging". All holes in play - which hasn't always been the case in recent weeks - however still playing off mats on some holes. Recommended course - a decent challenge.

Dreadful course with only one or two holes that stand out. The course is split by the m60 motorway and that's all you can hear across the course. Buy some ear plugs for this track. Very boring layout and the holes you play after crossing the motorway bridge completely lack any imagination or structure it's a couple of tees a field and acouple of greens. I must say the clubhouse and staff are very friendly the food was tasty and good value. I can't see a return anytime soon. Ian E...

Played this course mid afternoon in the week and we saw 2 other groups out on the whole course! Course is really nicely looked after, tees, fairways and greens all in good condition, the odd bumpy green on the other side of the motorway but generally excellent. Lots of interesting holes and course management is a must on many of them. very easy to get blocked out which makes it interesting and enjoyable - its not another "lash one up there" course and fairways/hybrids are good options on a few holes! Not overly difficult - you can hit the ball into trouble and chip out, but a good course for good players and beginners alike - not overly difficult, but interesting enough for better players. Bunkers could have done with a bit more sand, a few of them looked a bit thin. Friendly "locals" and chap behind the bar very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely play it again.

COURSE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND LOTS OF WORK IS GOING ON, GREENS ARE GOOD TO EXCELLENT AND THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF WORK ON THE TREES AND SHRUBS AROUND THE COURSE MAKING IT MUCH BETTER ON THE EYE.

Course was in good shape for this time of year, about 7 temp greens that were very good for temps and about 13 mats. Fairways walloped after and the ground staff were raking and tidying all the bunkers.
