Flat parkland layout. First nine quite tough with long par 4s requiring good straight drives. Par 3 2nd and 4th quite straight forward but you must score well to post a good 1st nine. Back nine easier, shorter and more forgiving but still with some decent holes. Greens ok in the main, if a little slow with unrepaired pitchmarks. 7th green quite poor but some seeding has been done. Tees ok but some need protection as quite worn. Fairways ok but shocked how many divots not replaced/repaired. Bunkers looked ok but did not visit one depite taking a provided rake round in the bag ( a requirement ). Staff and clubhouse seemed cordial and helpful. Overall quite a testing course but be prepared for the potential of being behind slow play.Would recommend for £14 FEE we paid.

Good pay-and-play, municipal course, now privately managed. In good condition and greens were reasonable. Did not use facilities, so unfair to comment, hence scored as good.

not a bad course nice and flat with alot of tree coverage but water hazards are a mess . course needs some tlc.

Very Wet - but course looks in reasonable condition. Some significant work on going to improve the quality of the Golf course

the course is now under new management and maintenance has improved a little. There was a society match on which meant for some queueing at tees.

For £8 twilight rate teeing off at 5pm it's absolutely fine. Ground was quite hard in place for saying we've come out of winter period so debatable what it'll play like after a prolonged hot dry spell.
But all in all for a pay n play course it does what it says on the tin

Good course as it's local and on my door step. Typical council run course, and very adequate. Staff really friendly and very helpful.
I only rated it as good, as ive been quite spoilt and played on some top notch courses of late ans was very unfair of me to compare sinfin to say a belfry or Forrest of Arden etc
