What the club says: The course, although not that long, a little over 5750 yards, offers a great challange to all players, whatever the handicaps. An accurate approach and a good short game will be rewarded.

Great course. Great Staff. Great club house. Friendly and welcoming. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Best Value for money for a proper 18 hole golf course in Derby.

Course was in great condition , greens were fast and tricky with pin placements. Staff very pleasant , and the nineteenth is well stocked with good food and drink.

The course was very hilly and steep. It was a great challenge, maybe too much of a challenge for a high handicapper like me. I met some supportive and kind players, and some entitled, obnoxious players too. Bunkers and greens are all in great condition, a lot of lost balls due to overgrown boundaries but it's not a problem if you have control through the relatively tight fairways.

Featured within the Golfshake Top 100 under £30 green fees this is a popular, well presented, golf course easily accessible from Derby. Despite the recent hot weather the greens are well kept and the baked fairways add another dimension of difficulty to its tight tree lined fairways.The clubhouse is superb and the food is the perfect golfers fayre of a very high standard that is reasonably priced.The short holes are a challenge and a decent strategic game is rewarded playing this course. I love playing here, doing so at least once a year. Highly Recommended venue representing excellent value for money.
