Every hole has a different challenge to offer. I can't sing the praises of this course enough. HOWEVER, catering leaves a great deal to be desired! It took over 30 mins from order to delivery for a bacon barm and a coffee - and this wasn't just me - many players complained of this. I was going to organise a society day out here for next year, but this kind of service has put me off!
My overall rating would have been excellent but for this.

The course is in good condition, not long but very tight.
The front 9 is mainly flat with all the out of bounds on the right.
The back 9 is more raised tees and greens and all the out of bounds are on the left with internal OOB on the right also on the last hole.

Front 9 gives you a false sense of security for what is to come on the back 9!
A real test, but very fair and suitable for golfers of all abilities.
Greens & fairways immaculate - top 100 course in my opinion

1st 2 holes were pretty easy then after that out of bounds on most holes, tight fairways but pretty fair lots of bunkers but if you hit your drive in play it wasnt to bad on the front 9 but then from the 10th to 18th the course was superb hitting over valleys, water in play 2 190+ par 3's then the 18th was one of the hardest holes I have played out of bounds left & right tight fairway plus it was 50+ yard par 5.
Was well looked after in the pro shop very helpful & the food & clubhouse was superb. Would recommend a visit especially if the weather is nice & will be on our society calendar in the near future
