Probably the best council course in the area. Its not the longest course ever - and that will put people off but the course is in decent condition - wasnt boggy or muddy at all; the greens werent the quickest but they werent bad at all. Didnt go in the 'clubhouse' so cant rate it.
As far as value for money goes - excellent for a public council course!

Great condition for a municipal, greens in particular were absolutely great, the holes are short in parts but all have some features and it is not just up and down

Not a bad municipal course for the money and if you'll play the Edinburgh Leisure courses often, the Leisure Card will save a bit of cash.
Course is generally in good condition but not a very long course at all. No par 5s and 1 or 2 long par 4s. There are a couple of tricky long par 3s.
Nice enough course if you just want a straight forward 18 holes.

Nice course for a quick 21/2 hour round
Excellent condition for a council course, not overly busy, and it's unusual to get behind a foursome during the week.The greens are small and hard to hit, but run true. Hit it on line at the right pace and you'll be fine.
