Great views!
We played the course in late September after a week of heavy rain, it is a great credit to the green keepers that we saw only one or two areas of standing water on the fairways. The greens were very good and consistent in pace. The course offers great panoramic views around the city of Edinburgh due to the hilly nature of the terrain: and this adds to the variety in the course with not many holes which are entirely flat!! It was a very enjoyable round and I especially enjoyed being able to drive the green at the downhill 10th, one for the scrapbook.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, well layed out with perfect greens. Pro shop empty just now and couldnt pay by card so that side let things down a bit

Great views on central Edinburgh course
A well laid out course with some fantastic views. A couple of strangely designed holes and a number of blind shots into greens don't really detract from the overall experience.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.5)

Greta little course and some excellent views. Greens were soft and maybe too much grass but overall course was in good condition

Course tee boxes were in poor condition but greens were ok. Decent course, a lot of blind tee shots however.
Par-3 15th Hole was the stand out hole.

course is ok very tight though as most tees are right behind the last green so you get alot of unhappy players if you over shoot the green tee off boxes werent in the best nick eather alot of mud for a private course got on for £15 on the open fairways though

Straight B+ rating for this course, everyting was very good. The views across Edinburgh made the experience even better. Highlight for me was the 12th par 3. Elevated tee and plenty of hazards keeps you focused.

A lovely little course on the south side of Edinburgh next to the Royal Observatory and one that we have played at least half a dozen times onver the last 5 or 6 years. The hospitality at the clubhouse is always great and the course has always been in good condition. Some spectacular views over the city and some tricky little shots to play. A course worth playing ifyou get the chance
