What The Club Says
Prestonfield Golf Club is set in beautiful parkland and is centrally located in Edinburgh. James Braid, one of the most famous names in golf, created the present layout. The course is a testing par 70 of 6206 yards whose two par 5s are very long but its par 3's quite short by today's standards. The character lies in the amount of long testing par 4's that can vary greatly depending on wind direction and strength.

Fantastic course worth visiting
A fantastic course and great find well worth visiting. Set at the foot of "Arthur's Seat" in Edinburgh and very picturesque. Great condition, very welcoming staff and good value.Nice clubhouse and overall a pleasant Scottish visit.

Stunning parkland course
This really is a stunning parkland course, beautifully laid out and some stunning views of Arthur's Seat and the surrounding landscape. The holes are well laid out with just a couple of pinch points, and the course was in fabulous condition. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Edinburgh.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 85 Handicap: 11.6)

Very nice course
The course was in great condition and is situated in a great location with views onto Arthur seat. Shame the golf I played wasn’t as good!(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 116 Handicap: )

Excellent hidden gem
Absolutely stunning course, very welcoming members and pro. Green fees and club hire very good value. Course in great condition and really was the highlight of my first trip to Scotland. A Good Club
Not the friendliest welcome, but that is unusual for this club which I have played at before. It is a good club and they have invested in drainage and reshaped some greens of late. It provides a consistent challenge while not too daunting for the high handicapper. Highlight holes - the dogleg 14th.Reviewer Rating

Great day out
Really enjoyed my round of golf on this course. Rumours about it being bad when wet but I disagree. Played after a few days of heavy rain and course was in fine condition.Reviewer Rating
