Pretty good for a council course
Short course for reasonably big hitters, but you still have to get the ball into the right places. Small greens. Tidy, and bunkers have good sand at present.No driving range, small putting area, no facilities for bacon rolls, just turn up and play. Must book though online.
Might get a pint after the game if you can get signed into the clubhouse.1

Quite a challenging 18 holes. Greens on front 9 very sandy. Chipping onto the green the sand was killing the ball roll first bounce. Then no sand on greens on back 9 having got used to the pace of the greens. Happy with my round considering the greens.

not the best council course in edin greens not fast but run true anyway harder when the wind blows but not a long course

Nothing much of interest although the greens were reasonably good but a little on the slow side

good condition considering the weather wet and windy, staff very helpful .

Super condition
Great condition for a council-run course. Some bunkers are a bit light on sand and dog walkers can sometimes pose problems, but generally a good, straight forward course, no par 5's. Small greens will benefit those with a good short game, but greens are pretty true.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 21.7)
