Nothing much of interest although the greens were reasonably good but a little on the slow side

Probably the best council course in the area. Its not the longest course ever - and that will put people off but the course is in decent condition - wasnt boggy or muddy at all; the greens werent the quickest but they werent bad at all. Didnt go in the 'clubhouse' so cant rate it.
As far as value for money goes - excellent for a public council course!

was pritty impressed with this course even though its run by edinburgh leisure fairways were in good nick tee boxes bit muddy but expected grees a touch hairy was a touch on the busy side with duffer golfers who cant play the game properly

Course playing well at the moment. As usual with municipal courses in the town it's a shame that the bunkers have no rakes and that no on course ball cleaners are provided, but I understand the reasons for this. Thanks to the staff for making the course what it is though.

Excellent condition for a council course. Greens were very good, only thing i would fault were the bunkers
