Reasonable Course
Fairly open course but need to keep straight as parts are tree lined &/or have water hazards. Course would benefit from better quality & more sand in the bunkers.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 22.2)

Colmworth is a lovely parkland course in a beautiful setting, it seems to improve every time I play it! Fairways are always well manicured, and greens in top class condition. The place is really well looked after by the hard working ground staff. It is always a pleasure to play there and all staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.

Course was in very good condition and nice to play. Other than the 12th though all the holes are very similar.

Amazing Condition
The course was in fantastic condition particularly considering the recent heatwave which is a great reflection on the staffs hard work and dedication to make Colmworth one of the best courses in Bedfordshire.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.2)

Back again
First time here for many years. Course has changed a lot over that time for the good. Some good challenging holes especially the 12th. Greens were ok but difficult to judge the pace on. Some were slow and some were quick, but overall a good days golf.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.1)

little things
Driving range has new balls....the putting green was in good nick.Course in good condition, tees needed a trim, bunkers need some decent sand, however fairway to greens are in good condition and it is a fair test for most.
café shuts at 14:30 for hot food which was disappointing as the cold selection was meagre.

a reasonable course for pay and play. good condition but the bunkers left a lot to be desired, full of almost sharp sand which made it very difficult to get under the ball,

Good value for money

An excellent parkland course, with four terrific par 5s, and some very interesting par 3s. Greens always in great condition, and the fairways, no matter what the weather, are generally very well kept. Overall, a grand place to play, with wonderful friendly staff.

What I can only describe as a parkland links course...opens with a generous par 4 then tightens up for the rest of the front 9.....can open your shoulders up of the back 9 but when you have 40mph gusts makes it a tricky round. Lovely conditions.....some great views on the high tees...well worth a round.

Course played in very windy conditions, which made controlling flight & direction difficult. Weather ranged from dry & sunny to cold & wet during the round.

A pleasure to play.
Colmworth is a beautifully laid out course in a lovely parkland setting. Each hole has it's own distinct character, with some terrific par 5s and some distinctly tricky par 3s.The fairways are excellent, especially considering the dry spell, and the greens are first class. Ground staff do a brilliant job. The course is a real delight to play, and a pleasure to visit.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 17)
