Well kept, established course
Excellent well established course, quite tight in places. A little local knowledge helps as quite often found myself on the wrong side of the course. Lots of practice of hitting out of the trees!Reviewer Rating

A good challenge
A well run club with a challenging mature parkland course. Fairways and greens in good condition considering the hot dry summer we've had. A course that I never get bored of.Reviewer Rating

Good course, friendly people
My friend and I played at St. Neots in September 2019. We had played here a number of times before and we had another very enjoyable round. The course isn't long but has several interesting and challenging holes. We have always found the staff and members at St. Neots to be among the friendliest and most helpful people we have encountered at golf clubs and this was no exception. The only small fly in the ointment was that the electric trolley hired by my friend ran out of juice after eight holes. This was soon put right, however, by the pro shop who had a replacement battery for him by the next hole. The clubhouse was good, the food was good and we had really enjoyable day.Reviewer Rating

A good test
Course was quite lush for the time of the year and the dry weather of late. Although the course was generally very tidy, the rough was a bit long in places and the greens were a bit slow and starting to burn off around the fringes. Fairways and carries were nicely presented and the bunkers were well raked but could do with a bit more sand and some stone removal. Strange layout but in general a nice interesting, well presented course!Reviewer Rating

A good course
A mature, well presented course. Some of the fairway grass a little long in places & sand in bunkers rather coarse.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 102 Handicap: 23.5)

Great course
Although I was not playing my best, I really enjoyed my game. Tees, fairways and greens all in great condition. Good interesting layout requiring thought as to where to play your ball. Only the long walks between some holes let it down.Reviewer Rating

Uninspiring
Some players may enjoy this course - I played a few holes with a pleasant long-standing member who won the club Junior Championship 40 years ago & now hopes to go on to win the Senior Cup! For me though, the course doesn’t flow well, with too much walking between holes - you have the same long walk through the course after the 1st & 11th. A few blind shots & 2 ugly long uphill par 3’s made this quite forgettable for me.... but I should add that playing behind an impossibly slow society meant this was never going to be a great day.... golf clubs really need to do more to address this problem.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 87 Handicap: 10.9)

Nice course well worth playing
My friend and I have played St Neots a number of times in the past and visited it again in February 2018. The course itself is a lovely parkland course with some tricky holes. Although there had been heavy rain in recent days, the course was in reasonable condition. Everyone had to use winter wheels, which were available on hire from the club. It was a lovely day weatherwise and we enjoyed our round. Everyone, from the clubhouse staff to the members, are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 132 Handicap: 28.3)
