Flatish parkland course with lots of water hazards. Fairways dry and fast. Greens hard but true. Bunkers a little thin on sand.

A variety of holes. Some with generous fairways to allow the driver to be uleashed others require a well place 3/5 wood
Would of been happier if I had paid around £35/40 the round mid week but overall a good day out!

Very nice course - definitely worth a visit

A difficult course, quite a few doglegs, lots of water hazards, not an easy course to play. An interesting challenge. Greens running true but slow on day visited.

Must like water and dog legs

Brampton Park is sometimes called a plotter’s course. My view is one-dimensional. Tree lined dog legs 12 of 14 non par three holes means that in most cases the only way to play the hole is hit to a distance then hit to another. Add in ditches and water and it’s like playing from island to island. Just make sure you can hit a high ball to stop it on the greens and don’t dare to embrace the ground game.

First time round here. Excellent club and course. Latter was in good condition and greens were receptive and rolled well. Nice variety of holes throughout the course and an excellent test of golf. Fairly flat with the odd longish walk between tees. Club were very friendly and looked after our society very well. Well worth playing if you're in the area.

Challenging course

Really challenging layout on at least 8 holes with water in play, tactical tee shots required and a really fair and stern test.Greens immaculate, fairways were not amazing or tee boxes but still much better than other courses in the area. Great day out.

Interesting Course in Good Condition

First time playing this lovely golf course, a bit more expensive than others in the area but well worth it. Lots of dog legs, water hazards and trees and course was in good condition. Greens were a little slow but had recently been worked on so to be expected. Staff and members were friendly. Driving range, chipping area and putting green. All in all recommended.

Challenging parkland course with numerous hazards. Although not a long course it requires respect and staying on fairway. Club well organised for handling Covid safety.

Par 3 for SI 1, you can't be serious!

Water on 4 sides of a par 3 leaving you with a virtual island for a par 3. Too short, too long, too much left, too much right, doesn't matter which you choose, you're in the water, got to be accurate. When I played, greens were very good, fairway and rough still recovering from the drought last year. Made to feel very welcome.

A little dissappointing

Nearly all the fairways appeared to have been scarified with the scarified grass left on the surface. Several of the bunkers had stones in them with sand of poor quality. Big problem on four holes was the inability to see where the green was leading to the ball being either out of position or hit in the wrong direction. We were 15 minutes late teeing off as we had to wait for a mixed fourball medal match which inexplicably started (all groups) on the 17th tee. The group in front of the group in front of us were so slow we were held up on all holes up to12 and only speeded up then because the group in front of us walked off in exasperation (They told us later). We were then unable to have sandwiches unless we waited for 45 minutes as they were catering for a society so we left.
