What the club says: Ramsey is a mature parkland course with an abundance of mature native trees. Ramsey is renowned for the quality of its greens. To maintain the quality of the course approximately 500 trees have been planted in recent years in a bid to keep the course looking fresh and idyllic.
The course measures 5998 yards with a SSS of 69 from the competition tees and 5751 yards with a SSS of 67 from the yellow tees.

Course is in fantastic condition
Greens are in superb condition and the whole course is very well maintained and is excellent nick.Shame the pro shop was shut at 150l0 in the afternoon though

Parkland gem

Unfriendly aggressive members, unpleasant atmosphere and the layout of the course causes a bottleneck. Tee timed are not monitored or controlled. Handy if you want to turn up and play but not good when you do book and find a 4 ball cutting in front of you.

Hargrave Society
Played the course yesterday as part of a society day. Weather was great and course was in good condition. Fairways could have done with a cut but proved difficult due to recent extreme weather. Greens were very good. Hospitality before and afterwards in the club house were excellent and staff could not have done anymore to make us more welcome. Very well kept course and friendly staff
I've recently started going to this course and am really enjoying it, plus it is fairly local to me so I will definitely be coming more often. The course is well kept and there are a few tricky par three holes, plus the staff in the clubhouse are extremely friendly and efficient. The only bad thing is that the kitchen seems to close very early on some days so if you want something from the cafe after a round, you'll have to start early!Reviewer Rating

Great Afternoons Golf
Played in a small group pm Friday 13th May. Welcome from the Pro excellent, well stocked traditional pro shop and excellent club house facilities. Has the feel of a proper members club without being stuffy. The course was in excellent condition greens quick and true, and fairways lush and cut to just the right height. The layout is very challenging without being punishing. Altogether a very good experience. Rounded off the afternoon with a good pint on the decking area.
