Good solid course
Fast greens undulating greens. Some fairly open fairways, but challenging due to the design of the course.Fairways seem to be recovering nicely from the summer.

Wet weather made conditions slow and muddy but course in good condition and greens particularly so. Could be a better looking course if they made full use of the water features and would make it more challenging.

Monday afternoon so felt like millionaires golf. Course in good condition especially the greens which seemed blemish free. There are lakes/ponds on the course, but as usual half empty, which is a shame as they could be an excellent feature on a number of the holes

Despite being winter the course is in good nick and green good but need some care caused by pitch marks.

Played the course today during Storm Doris, an interesting round. The course is in a very good condition especially for this time of year. All the holes are interesting particularly the 15th and 18th. The 18th is a great finishing hole.
The clubhouse is comfortable, food very good and all the staff friendly and welcoming. If you haven't played at Clandon Regis I would highly recommend

What a cracking course. Good facilities and friendly welcome. The course was in very good condition - especially the greens. Played in glorious weather after heavy overnight rain, it was a pleasure to play Clandon Regis today.

Beautiful course, mixed up enjoyable variety of holes, excellent smotth whislt difficult greens.
Superb condition, would highly recommend to anyone to play.

Very windy day which made the course feel a lot longer than usual. In great condition and virtually no one playing despite being mid afternoon on a Friday.

Played in a golf society day on 29th December. Course affected by heavy frost but after a few jokes proved to be a challenging course in excellent condition. Staff and members extremely hospitable and lived up to "friendly" tag.,Wouldn't hesitate to visit again..

Hard to fault anything about Clandon Regis. The clubhouse, course, and practise facilities are all really excellent.
The fairways aren't the widest I've seen, but they generally aren't very narrow either. However, stray into the rough and it will be a tough ask finding the ball, as the grass is knee deep in summer. I found this out to my cost today!
The greens were all excellent, although very tough to stop the ball on. As for the holes, there's a lot of variety with dog legs, straight holes, water, and even hedges (as the 2nd) blocking your way to a good score.
I'm definitely looking for a return trip here.
