Attractive parkland course
attractive parkland course, but in winter gets very sticky. Looks like an easy course which can easily catch out the unwary.Good bunch of regular members.

i was pleasantly surprised by this course, i drive past it every day and finally decided to have a knock. it isnt a world beater but a steady course to have a knock.

Nice course although some of the fairways were a little dry. The greens were excellent and so were the tee boxes, a really friendly club. The only downside to the club is they are cash only (NO BANK CARDS) which is hard to take in, for such a nice club.

The members of this club are very inviting. The pro shop has the essentials. The course is in great condition. Some holes are very forgiving, while others are very tight. Good variety of holes.
I was very disappointed by the fact that you had too pay with cash to play. We were not told this when we booked. I would of thought that now days every club would have a card machine. We were also told that it is cash only in the bar, so we went across the road to a pub called the Bee-keeper.
The price of £25.50 is fair as this includes insurance, so mishaps are covered.
Will play again,but will have to ensure cash in my wallet.

Considering the recent weather the course was in pretty good condition. All temporary tees and fairway mats (when I hit one) when we played here, helped by warming winter sunshine. Excellent value at £15 with a member. Doesn't seem long but some of the par 4's looked more like par 5's especially with little run on the fairways. Nicely laid out course needing accuracy with decent size greens. Definately an old school golf club, but the members were very friendly.Reviewer Rating

Great club

It's a relatively flat course, but challenging - and was in reasonable condition bearing in mind it was the end of the season.

Many years since playing here, thoroughly enjoyed our return. The course is well maintained the greens were good but not too fast and the different coloured trees surrounding the course were a picture in full bloom.
