Greens amazing for February. Course not too long so perfect for mid handicaps.

Chiddingfold is a beautiful course which offers a challenge to all golfers, it is not too long.

Short course but interesting to play as has a fair mix of holes.
Clubhouse and staff welcoming atmosphere but limiited.
18 holes pretty tight together so if busy coud get intersesting.

First time I have played Chiddingfold. What gem of a place!. I have had many poor experiences at other venues from crazy rules and miserable members designed to hamper enjoyment.. This place is a refreshing change.. All 8 of my group are thinking of joining.

Recently joined Cowdray park but went back to play one of my fav courses. Still great, good challenge, course is improving in time, very friendly and a real joy to play. Drive and chip well score well.

This course has been repaired significantly over the past few years, and as such it is a pleasure to play. It is not too tough, with some memorable holes. Personally i think the green fees here are fantastically low, and the course is seldom busy when I play during the week. Its a perfect mix.

Lovely course: well maintained greens and extremely friendly welcome. I would recommend this course to anyone but particularly those who maybe be new to Golf or looking to play in a more relaxed environment.

Pyecombe Golf Club held their Lady Captain's Awayday at Chiddingfold Golf Club on Thursday 07 August. We started with bacon rolls and coffee, followed by 18 holes of golf on a short but fairly tricky course and finished with a super buffet and prize-giving. The general ambiance was very friendly and helpful and many of our members have indicated that they would be returning. The weather was perfect and a very enjoyable day was had by all participants. Thank you very much Scott and team.

a group of us used to come to Chiddingfold some 20 years ago and it was a lovely course that provides a good test for even lower handicappers.
The club then found itself in wrong hands and the clubhouse went and the quality of the course soon followed. Ropey tees poor greens and generally tatty, so we abandoned it. Recently I heard that Cowdrey Park had taken over the club some 18 month previously and the that they had done a good job.
I then decided to take a group of 12 on a Sunday to see how the course is coming on.
Steve in the clubhouse was fantastic very helpful, happy and enthusiastic about the ongoing work the team are doing with the course.
It was so pleasing to see the course in its current state its certainly looking like it former self and the greens were excellent.
Chiddingfold is a querky course, shorter than some of the Surrey beasts but as we all agreed a fair challenge for everyone, golf isn't always about BOOM BOOM. The countryside surrounding the course is beautiful and peaceful and everyone agreed it was a fantastic day played on a truly enjoyable course.
As Steve will tell you Cowdrey are still making improvements to the course as far as steps and cart paths etc are concerned but the general quality of the course will leave you very pleased you chose Chiddingfold for your round.
Back at the clubhouse deals on beer, oh and the delicious bacon French sticks were very welcome.
They do some outstanding deals for societies and as I wrote earlier it is a great society course as it gives everyone a chance.
Well done Steve and the team Chiddingfold and keep up the good work and we will be back to try the new 18th when it opens in a couple of weeks.
