Amazing Condition
Played this afternoon. For the recent weather course was in great shape. Few holes with raised lips which cost a couple of shots but treated really well.Got stuck behind a 3 ball who seemed to be searching for balls every hole. Even though we got close to them a few times and is being a 2 ball they never offered to let us play through despite our obvious better standard of golf. Thankfully they left after 9 holes. And we flew through the last 9.

Good day
We had a society day on 27th December 2023 with 7 playersConsidering the amount of rain we have had over the last few weeks the course was in good condition and the staff were very pleasant and obliging

Fair course
Fair course. Quiet which was nice. Even though it was wet, it wasn’t too boggy. I would play again.Reviewer Rating

Attractive course, tough in parts. Lovely
Chesterton's a really attractive course to play, beautiful trees etc. Tough to play in parts esp the back 9, but we always enjoy playing. Friendly staff, great bar, etcReviewer Rating

Well worth a visit
Friendly course with two distinct parts. Part of the front 9 is fairly flat and typical parkland holes. Crossing back to the older part of the course, the terrain is more up and down with some long steep slopes. The fairways were in great condition, greens were relatively slow and the bunkering needed some work.

Worth a Round for £20
Played here today 22.08.20 at short notice. Great of them to fit us in to be fair. The course itself is looking not to bad. Work needed on the tees and the greens needed sweeping as lots of earth and sand on them. However, to be fair its worth the £20 as its a great thinking course. You cannot get the Driver out every hole as a lot of holes are either dog leg or narrow fairway so accuracy is more important than distance on a few holes. Overall a great deal for £20 and we had a buggy which was £20 also so excellent value for money. Give it a try .(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.6)

Very hilly
Good course, lots of steep hills which towards the end of the round can get quite tiring. Older players or those with less mobility or fitness should consider buggy.Reviewer Rating

Great
This is a very good course especially for the price we pay for it. Very hilly but some very beautiful views and lots of nice holes.Reviewer Rating

Challenging
As it's name says this is set in a valley and is very up and down where a good drive onto a downhill slope can give its rewards, likewise a bad shot is often penalised, especially where trees guarding narrow fairways come into play. Drains well so not normally affected by wet conditions. Quite physical due to its undulations but well worth a visitReviewer Rating
