Shabby condition
Played the course 18/04/19. Course in shocking condition. Every green over sanded to hide numerous dead areas. Bunkers shocking too. Very little sand and badly maintained. Add slow play and no catering on a Thursday and you get an expensive second rate course. Complained to club pro who agreed greens unacceptable.

Played here 14/2/17 course didn't live up to its ad. Course pretty poor all round didnt use the clubhouse so cant comment on that. Not worth the low price of £16 will not go there again especially when it's surrounded by courses of a better quality.

Course was in good condition but the major let down as always seems to be the greens!!!!!!!!!! Such a shame as this course 3/4 years ago was always good value

Compared to other local courses Chesterton really flattered to deceive, greens in poor condition i.e. unrepaired pitchmarks on every green.
Will not be coming back in a hurry

Poor condition
I have played this course many times in the past and have never had any issues but at the moment the greens are poor, bunkers unkempt and overgrown with foliage, winter tee boxes still being used when the normal tees are ok.
Really not good enough or worth the money when there are better options in the area.
That being said if they sort out their issues knowing how good the course can be, I would recommend and play again but before booking I would phone the course and ask about the above.

Overall the course was in good shake, bare the greens very gritty and patchy all over so ball never ran true, one put on the 15th green actually rolled back off the lip of the cup as the edge was sticking up
