Too busy. Too many members. Too greedy to get more members. All mornings block booked for senior medals and women. So when can you play?Afternoons? Perfect for me, or so I thought. But oh dear! Afternoons are also busy. Whether it’s players from the morning rearranging times I don’t know, but when I booked today it looked quiet on the website for 2pm. What a joke!\It was absolutely packed.\Golf etiquette doesn’t exist. The 14-08 tee off time behind me played their balls before I’d left the first green then their second on the second before I had finished the hole. At this point I decided to finish my 2 hole round. I have rarely finished 18 holes this summer due to slow games. I obviously will not be renewing my membership.

Great course, really enjoyed it, lots of interesting holes, maybe not the most difficult, but good fun; balls generally easily found

Good course
Dry conditions but greens were in excellent condition and played true. Pace of play could be improved if 4 balls allowed 2 balls to go through.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.5)

Very slow play
Course was in great condition from tee to green but the pace of play was exceptionally slow.No fourballs allowed us to play through so we waited on every tee for up to 15mins at times.

Have played this course many times before. It's an enjoyable and challenging course and can be quite physically demanding.

One of the best courses in the area
Playable all year round, well worth a visit whatever the weather or conditions. Great Pro shop, well stocked. Good driving range and good clubhouse facilities(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 106 Handicap: 0)

Bit cold and damp under foot but still a good round considering the breezy day we played. Have played here many times in the past and a very good track still.

Great drainage
Course in very good condition, particularly the greens and bunkers. Forgiving & generous fairways though round was played in windy conditions.(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 22.6)

A very open course but also very long. Tee's and green's are superb but fairways could do with a bit of work in places.
Not keen on the rockery ditches but all part and parcel of the course.

Good day's golf
I played in the Chesfield Downs Winter Series and had a really enjoyable day's golf. Although I'm not a member, I know and like the course and the quality of the food in the clubhouse.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 114 Handicap: 28)

OPEN COURSE IN GREAT CONDITION
EXCELLENT PRO SHOP AND GOOD CLUB HOUSE. GREENS IN GREAT CONDITION. A BUSY COURSE SO PACE OF PLAY CAN BE SLOW AT TIMES(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.9)
