What The Club Says
Letchworth Golf Club is a well established Parkland course tucked into the leafy suburbs of Letchworth Garden City. It is noted for its tight fairways, mature trees, cross bunkers and fast greens. It is in an ideal location in North East Hertfordshire with good access routes via the A1(M) and approx 30 miles north of London. The course is just off the A505 north of Hitchin or at Junction 9 of the A1 (M).

Mid Week 4 Ball
Lovely picturesque clean and tidy course, but not demanding. The condition of the course was fair but clear signs of wear and tear on the fairways and a battle has taken place against the hot summer. However there is strong evidence that the green-keeping staff are trying to restore the course back to its best as there are clear sign of remedial work on fairways, greens and tee boxes. Pro shop staff were pleasant and good customer service on purchases. However what lets this club down is the attitude and behaviour of some of the members who represented everything bad about golf. From the moment we drove up to the car park right up until the final hole, some of the members were far from welcoming and obviously appear to have an issue with guests and visitors intruding on "their" club. Like the club house the members appear to be stuck in the 1930'sReviewer Rating

Excellent
Great course, backed up by great staff and a lovely clubhouse. Obviously playing rather shorter than usual at this time, but don't stay too far because you'll be playing out of the woods. Greens were quick and difficult to read at time but not in a bad way. Just had to take time to look at them properly.The staff were fabulously friendly. Everyone had time to chat and to serve.
