Played here on 4th Sept on a special deal of £25. We played off the blue tees which the starter said would test us and it did. The special price was because they had just hollow tined the green a few days earlier. In fairness the greens were very good apart from one which was a bit patchy. Lots of the bunkers including the Anaconda on the 5th were GUR and lots of them look like they are growing them out. Lots of others had nice new orange sand in them. Even with all the work going on the course played well and for £25 it was a bargain. Not sure I'd pay the normal rate though, based on the work being carried out which may take some time.

Good course, playing well. Unfortunately had comp on which made it a very slow day.

Great club house with friendly staff which is always a bonus. Changing rooms/ showers etc. very clean and welcoming and the food in the spike bar was spot on.
The course was amazing, one of those where you have to pick your way around rather than just bash the granny out of the ball
I was fortunate to be in good company too, so a very pleasant experience

Still struggling in places from the excesses of recent rain - fairways were 'spongy' in places. But great scenery.

Early season work underway, a lot of GUR and greens had been spiked and seeded therefore bumpy. Condition will no doubt be better in a month or so but still a nice course.
