A pleasant surprise We played this course last autumn and it was terrible, having no sand in the bunkers, GUR sprayed on the fairways, and temporary greens with holes only large enough to hold the broom handle with the thread bare flag fluttering on top, I was not expecting much at all\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

\\\\\To my surprise the fairways were well cut, there was sand ( and a rake ) in the bunkers, and the greens were in good condition too, the rough is still thick but had been cut, We were held up by the vets in front but this didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Greens need work and tees need attention. Fairways are hard under foot and rough is extremely coarse, ditches need tidying too.

Have to say that the greens have improved recently, however the course does need a lot of work doing to improve the drainage and the bunkers - which are in a terrible state.

This is a flat course which has not been looked after very well, the greens have a lot of brown on them even sand where they are trying to improve the greens, some of the bunkers are GUR, very little signage especial when you get to the 13/16 where you t-off from the same tee in different directions and the signs are in the wrong place?

OK to go round as a practice but course is not in good condition. Some of the greens are poorly kept, sand in bunkers heavy. Fairways could do with closer cut. Tees were often uneven.

Getting tatty now and needs some attention. To many public people can walk around the course. Greens are getting bad.
It is only 3 minutes from my house so nice for 9holes in the evening
