Challenging
Enjoyable and challenging. The back 9 is quite narrow and has some very challenging holes that require some strategic play. The greens are usually quite hard and fast, and being situated right on the mouth of the North Sea the wind always has to be taken into account. A good challenge for most golfers.Reviewer Rating

not expecting much as a public course and wasn't disappointed. Tee boxes and fairways were good, but the rough was very rough and didn't look managed in any way. The greens were very bare and also very bobbly which didn't give confidence in putting.Reviewer Rating

Better than expected
On Nov 4th blue skies and no wind the course was not muddy and the greens were in excellent condition but slow. The back nine were more difficult than the first nine. Hole 13 needs a long drive to clear a large pond which was quite challenging for me.Reviewer Rating

Nice links feel
Really fun links course, enjoyed playing here fro the first time. Has a great links feel with some interesting holes that challenge your length and your accuracy. You get rewarded for being bold and going for the greens off the tee on a few driveable par 4s and you can really get a good score.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 17.7)

Not so good since Green Keeper left
I have been a member but will not be renewing as under staffing is affected the coarse semi rough not being cut often enough, Manager does nothing but chat to people should get on mower and help his staff. You cannot run a golf coarse with not enough staff, when grass starts to grow next month it will be unplayable unless staff problem is resolved.Reviewer Rating

Not great
After a few months off I thought the course would have been in better condition, unfortunately it looks like everyone had 3 months off and just turned up and cut the grass a bit. First cut was unplayable fairways were long greens were dry and untidy. Not great.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem!
Lovely track and quite challenging. Those moaning need to keep it on the fairway! The first cut/light rough is not as tricky as it was a week ago as easier now to find your ball as grass is fading in colour due to the dry conditions. Greens need work but I understand this is being looked into. Besides, you should be at least be able to 2 putt on them so very playable. I play off mid hc and shooting in and around my hc so others should also be able to do so.Reviewer Rating

Challenging in the wind
The course is challenging for all levels of golfer, but is also very good to play whatever the level. The course is fairly flat but if there is a wind blowing it is very challenging. Well worth the money.Reviewer Rating
