Grt course and conditions.greens were fair and course in excellent condition.would play again but hopefully less wind.

Burnside is a great alternative to the Championship at Carnoustie, course is directly adjacent to the Championship and is also a great challenge, The club house and facilities are under construction for 2017 however the hotel is still available.

The best course I've played, period. Its about an hours drive from St Andrews and you hug the coast line as you normally find with links courses. It reminds you all the way round that you are walking in the foot steps of giants. Beautifully designed. Barry burn snakes his way through the course which levels the playing field massively.
The only negative about this course is that its has no driving range. The only thing on offer are 3 or four driving nets at the side of the main building. Pretty disapointing really when you consider what is the norm at St Andrews. But otherwise awesome.
