Having previously been a member for 6 years, I rejoined after playing a county match in October. By far the best course locally. The Carrick has matured into a truly fantastic course fulfilling it's potential. Having known Jonny from junior golf golfing days, I can say him and his team are top class guys and run the place with a modern approach which is refreshing. Can't recommend this place enough. Keep up the good work.

Great course with excellent layout. First few holes very challenging around water hazards, keep it dry round here, then the course opens up to allow golfers to relax, open up, and enjoy the views around the great layout. Lots of challenging holes, great test of golf.

Top class golf course, club house and staff. I simply can't recommend this course enough. I live in London, but was tempted to join as a member just to be able to return time and time again. Stunning.

Played following a heavy spell of rain over the past few days. Can't fault the course in anyway, most of the worst affected areas are in the rough wit thE fairways draining well. Greens were still quick and relatively true. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and the facilities are great. Book through tee off times for a great deal over the winter. No fairway mats or winter greens. Third time I've played it and the 14th is still breathtaking. Will definitely be back

Played a round at The Carrick on the shores of Loch Lomond, stunning venue for sure. Typical corporate venue. Friendly welcome in pro shop. Starter at the first tee with usual info re the course etc. Nice opening hole from elevated tee. Course looked in great condition. A few holes with water in play so need to keep fairly straight. Greens had been microtined bit did not effect the roll. Most greens difficult to read with subtle borrows. Some stunning holes with views of the Loch and surrounding areas, worth taking a moment or two to soak up the views for sure. Signature hole 14th par 3 is a great hole from elevated tee 184yds with Loch views, stunning. Not too hilly but still a good walk round 4.5hrs at a reasonable pace. Well worth playing for the views alone.
