Very 'up and down'
Played here a couple of times - only a couple of stand out holes, the remainder are very similar. Course was in reasonable condition, but adjoining fairways often results in you waiting for other players on different holes....Reviewer Rating

Not too long, hilly and a few blinds holes
First time I played Bury. £30 as a visitor is on the higher side. I liked the course, helped maybe by playing ok. No water and some fairly forgiving fairways which is ideal for me (20 hcap). The greens were the most disappointing aspect, they were being treated , so everyone was bobbling along - could not have been worse really so surprised we paid the full amount. There are quite a few blind tee shots and some blind shots to greens, not helpful for a first timer. All in all though, I would go back.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 87 Handicap: 19.9)

Phil and Tim try again
Had a nice round with Tim and Phil course is playing well few difficult holes 97 not my best day but Phil had the rake at the end(Round played: Nov 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 11.2)

Good course, dry despite rain
Good course. Dry despite rain earlier. Regular greens not on winter greens like neighbouring courses. Friendly club house with great pub food (cheeseburger, etc) for a good price(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 107 Handicap: 25.7)

the course was good, alot of sand on the greens as looked like had abit of rain the day before, started at 4.30 so was dark for last 5 holes with limited vision and a light drizzle threw the round

Played the course in poor weather, however you could see the greens & fairways in great condition, however not the easiest to navigate. We lost our way on one hole and as a result some very unfriendly members tried to berate us despite causing no hold-ups or disruption to any other golfers - sadly this spoilt a good course & puts me off going back

Great late October Round
Great course with some tough holes but a wide variety. Greens are challenging but in excellent condition. Overall the course was in great condition, just remember to take a rake with you, which are available. Don't know why not out on the course.Reviewer Rating
