great facilities. practice range, chipping area and putting green, plus nets, all next to the first. Excellent pro shop adjusted my putter for me and refused to take any money. Steep dunes mean the course is mostly very well defined with some nice contouring. Several spectacular holes that would grace any Open championship. Couldn't fault clubhouse either.
Against that, the fairways were patchy. The greens were just below 8 on my stimp but lacking a little growth as well. Possibly this should have been reflected with a small discount in the green fee as I'm sure it is normally in better condition. However straight you think you are, you will get some crazy bounces and sidehill lies, which isn't to everyones taste.
A little under rated on here, I'm pretty sure there aren't 200 better courses in the uk when this is in top nick.

This is an excellent links course and in incredibly good condition. The people were friendly, great practice facilities and a really comfortable 'proper' club house

Fantastic course with equally as good practice facilities. Started play at about 0830 with no wind, after a couple of birdies in the first 5 holes I thought to myself what's all the fuss about-this is quite easy! Then the wind picked up to about 25 mph and I started the back 9, it's a completely different beast in the wind, long, tight and very challenging. All in all I had a great day and would thoroughly recommend it.

Had lunch before game very good valve, practice grounds excellent,from driving area to chipping on those slopes , course in excellent condition,we had storm Katie blow through on Monday no evidence was seen ( we played Wednesday) afterwards into bar where we had a couple of beers from very friendly bar staff asking about our experience of the day .great day will return again

I've wanted to play the course for sometime and it was worth the wait. Beautifully presented with excellent quick greens there isn't a weak hole. Staff very pleasant and accommodating and a comfortable clubhouse. Played in a north easterly breeze which doesn't occur too often. Back 9 would be a beast in a stiff westerly. Score 86 Handicap 16

Loved the course. Even though it was raining pretty heavy the course held up and played brilliantly.

What a fantastic course. Members and staff were very friendly and helpful adding to a great morning of golf. The course itself is in excellent condition, although the greens played a little slower than expected. The course is picture perfect and each hole presents it's own challenges. We were fortunate with benign conditions on the first 9, however it become a much sterner test on the homeward stretch, with every hole seeming to be into the wind. I would love to come back soon. I wish I was a member!

A most enjoyable course with fast greens and sculptured holes through the dunes. A course that requires a few rounds to get to know where to miss and how to get the best out of your game.

very good 9 hole course with 18 tees. Situated between the main championship course and salt marsh and very challenging. You will want to play again just to improve your score.

A great day out to be enjoyed by all. The challenging Channel course is a real test and is not to be laughed at. But the Championship course is a fantastic course to play, the undulating fairways which are tight and are a test to maintain with the wind coming off the sea makes sensible play a must. The bunkers are cavenous so enter them at your peril. The greens roll true and fast even right at the start of the season to the credit of the club. Change is coming and the club are looking to update and improve. The clubhouse has a certain character which some may find dated but adds to the charm of the whole place. The food is delicious and extremely fairly priced, recommended to all as a must play, but not for the faint hearted, it is tough course but a pleasure
